Dave Kandal Elementary
Every Student a Success
Welcome to Dave Kandal Elementary School, home of the Sonics. Dave Kandal boasts a strong academic and social program for all students. Dave Kandal staff offer a safe and caring environment, a place which welcomes students and families, and where staff want to be. Students at Dave Kandal wear uniforms, and practice “SONICS” virtues which are: We strive for SUCCESS! We are ORGANIZED! We are NICE! We have INTEGRITY! We are CREATIVE! We provide SERVICE! Our 200 students are organized into 9 divisions from kindergarten to grade five. Many of our students are multi-lingual learners. Dave Kandal Elementary provides rich learning opportunities, and celebrates the diverse backgrounds of our students, by engaging our students and families in events that recognize cultural identity and belonging.
