Our School

Dave Kandal students enjoy many special programs which include roller skating, swimming and ice skating. Our school offers a full range of sports like soccer, volleyball, basketball, and track and field. There is a weekly running club. Our student leadership group works on ways to improve our school through initiatives like collecting food for the food bank and organizing spirit days. We have an active passionate parent community. Our parents have organized a variety of events in addition to providing ongoing input to school decisions.  Dave Kandal hosts a variety of cultural celebrations which include Diwali, Vaisakhi, Chinese New Year and a Christmas concert. We have an on-site Little Twinkle Preschool for 3 and 4 year olds. Several of our staff are bilingual, speaking a variety of languages including Punjabi and Hindi.
