Presentations
Facilities and Transportation Department – Upper Sumas Reopening
Facilities Department Team Members shared the efforts that were made by the department. For four months, the Facilities Department, worked tirelessly to restore Upper Sumas Elementary in time for students and staff to return to their school on the first day back after Spring Break.

Education
Updating Strategic Plan and Preliminary Budget for 2022-2023
Superintendent Godden provided the Board with an update regarding the Strategic Plan. An updated timeline was shared in relation to how we will gather feedback from staff, parents, and students in the coming weeks.
Toti:ltcha Future Learning Plan - School Strategy for 2021-2022
Superintendent Godden presented a high-level summary of where the district stands in relation to the work of Toti:ltcha, our future learning plan. This included updates on enhanced health and safety measures, provincial health orders, and more.
School Fees and Deposits for 2022-2023
A recommendation was put forward THAT the Board of Education approve the list of school fees and deposits for the 2022-23 school year as presented.
Academy Fees for 2022-2023
A recommendation was put forward THAT the Board of Education approve the list of the Academy fees for 2022-2023 as presented.
Operations
Capital Plan Bylaw
A recommendation was put forward THAT the Board of Education approve having all three readings of the Capital Plan Bylaw No. 2022/23-CPSD34- 01 in this one meeting.
Trustee Election Candidate Information Session
Secretary-Treasurer Velestuk informed the Board of Education that The School District will be hosting school trustee candidate information sessions to orient potential candidates to the role of a school trustee.
