Intellectual Development
Our students will learn key academic skills - like reading, writing and math - to encompass the knowledge and processes associated with intellectual development. As learners and meaning-makers, students take subject-specific concepts and content and transform them into a new understanding.
Goals
-
Improve student success in literacy.
In our Response to Intervention (RTI), we work with our grade 3 students offering small group targeted reading instruction for the first half of the school year and then switch our focus to grade 2 students for the second half of the year. -
Improve student success in numeracy.
In Numeracy, our students show their learning in multiple ways.
